IAG employees are invited to join this 12 week Training Program to run the Sydney Morning Herald Relay - 14/7km or the Manly Fun Run. Fundraising for this event will be via the IAG Good Company website where you will be fundraising as a team. (You are not required to set up a Can Too Fundraising page). Please note this program is for IAG staff only.

The Sydney Morning Herald Half Marathon RELAY is a fantastic way to be part of a half marathon! You can choose to run either the 14km or 7km of the full 21km. You enter with a buddy who runs the alternative section of the route (14km or 7km) and together you conquer the 21km! This event takes part in the heart of Sydney. The course takes in such sites as The Rocks, the Sydney Harbour Bridge, the Sydney Opera House, and the Royal Botanic Gardens.
If you are travelling, each participant is responsible for organising and covering the cost of their travel and accomodation. Throughout the program you receive recommendations and a chance to travel with those training with you. We have team celebrations together and everyone is invited!

What level of running experience do I need?
Anyone can join! The Can Too training program is professionally based and structured to ensure that people of all levels of fitness and experience – from novices to seasoned athletes – are well prepared to achieve their personal goal in their chosen endurance event. The coaches are motivational and the journey is addictive as members develop new friends, share experiences and have fun. The team environment is a vital component in helping you to feel motivated, inspired and supported.

What kind of gear do I need?
At the first training session you receive an official Can Too training singlet/top. You will need running shorts/pants/tights, a hat, good socks and a sturdy pair of running shoes. In the first few weeks of training you receive special discounts with running gear suppliers who support Can Too and we encourage you to purchase any gear you might need from them!
How do I get to Sydney for the event day?

How much does it cost to join this program?
IAG has kindly covered the fee required to join this program.
How much do I have to fundraise?
The IAG Finance Team Fundraising Pledge is minimum $10,000. Your fundraising will be done as a team through the IAG Foundation Good Company website . IAG will provide all details once you have registered for the training program. Please contact Carmel Small or Peter Grant if you have any queries.
Where does the money go?
Funds raised will go to IAG's cancer research charity - the Garvan Institute.
