Message from Can Too CEO Peter McLean

24 Apr 2020
I would like to share with you how the Can Too Foundation is responding to the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis. To update you on how we're supporting you, our community to keep physically active, connected and where to find support. Please watch my short video message below.

An exciting update is that we will be bringing you content from our partners - iMove Physio. The video resources including how to build strength for runners as well as online group Q&A discussions on topics such as how to prevent injuries will be shared to our virtual program pods from tomorrow morning. The video series will be shared in the future to our Can Too Virtual Facebook page.

We will also be sharing video content from guest Can Too Coaches and Allied Health professionals from how to do Pilates to tailored exercises for swimmers to build strength at home through our online programs.

We currently have three online virtual program offerings:

During these difficult times where workplaces are increasingly fragmented and individuals are faced with unprecedented social isolation, it has never been more important to focus on employees’ physical and mental health.

I'm happy to announce that the Can Too Foundation has developed a virtual program for corporations to assist them in meeting their obligations to support the mental and physical wellbeing of their employees, while at the same time raising valuable funds to support Australian cancer research and prevention.

The online corporate program can be easily added to current employee support strategies with minimal cost and effort on the part of the company. If you think that this is something your organisation would benefit from, please click here to provide us with the contact details of the best person to approach within your organisation.

We hope you can enjoy one of our online offerings for any questions or feedback please reach out to us on: info@cantoo.org.au

You can also find a range of mental health support resources here. And please keep informed on our response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Crisis, which is regularly updated here.

Stay safe and well, together we will continue to keep fit and healthy. We will come back again and be stronger than ever.
