Please help me raise funds for Cantoo!

Don't get me wrong, ocean swimming offers moments of pure joy and training is only sometimes a hardship, but mother ocean is a wild beast and my motivation to keep at it, week in week out, glorious or woolly, jimbles, sea lice and all, stems from my involvement with Cantoo. I would really appreciate if you can support me in my journey to tackle the Big Swim 2024 (Palm to Whale Beach 2.4km and not easy!) - Cantoo is a great charity on a quest to fund early cancer researchers- a cause close to my heart. I'm only halfway through a normal life expectancy and could have been felled not once but twice already (breast cancer 2017, melanoma 2020) were it not for Australian health care. And I know I'm not the only one- all of us have been touched by cancer either personally or in those we know and love. Every day is a blessing and ocean swimming is part of the way I make the most of life- please help me achieve my fundraising goal!

I'm supporting cancer research and prevention with Can Too Foundation. 

1 in 3 women and 1 in 2 men will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. This means that potentially someone we love may have to battle cancer, and that's a statistic that needs to change. 

So I asked myself, "what can I do to help?" That's where the Can Too Foundation came in! Can Too provides professionally coached training programs for participants of any fitness level to run, swim and cycle their way to a healthier lifestyle and a cancer-free world. 

In return, I am raising valuable funds that go towards innovation in the prevention, care, and control of cancer. Since 2005, Can Too Foundation has trained over 18,000 participants and raised over $25,000,000 to invest in over 200 one-year cancer research grants.
