Today, I'm reaching out with a deeply personal request, one that stems from a stark reality many of us face.
Did you know that 1 in 3 women and 1 in 2 men will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime? It's a staggering statistic, and behind each number is a face, a name, a story. It could be someone we cherish, someone we see every day. It's a future that I believe we have the power to change.
I've often found myself pondering, "What can I do to make a difference?" That's when I discovered the Can Too Foundation. They offer professionally coached training programs, enabling individuals of all fitness levels to run, swim, and cycle towards a healthier tomorrow and a world free from the shadows of cancer.
By joining these programs, I've committed to raising funds that directly contribute to groundbreaking advancements in the prevention, care, and control of cancer. To give you a glimpse of the impact, since its inception in 2005, the Can Too Foundation has empowered over 18,000 participants, raising an astounding $25,000,000. These funds have been channeled into over 200 one-year cancer research grants.
But I can't do this alone.
