Updates to our programs

01 Sep 2016

Can Too Foundation has introduced some minor adjustments to our programs.

Your Fundraising Commitment

Our minimum fundraising commitment amounts will be increasing for all Can Too programs from 2017, including the Swim and Triathlon training programs that start training in November 2016.

Research funding remains a challenge for our brightest cancer researchers: only 12% of eligible research receives funding, at a time when rare cancers account for one third of all cancer deaths. Five year survival rates of many rarer cancers and those such as pancreatic cancer are still hovering round 5%.

Can Too is proud to have supported 147 researchers across all cancer types through your fundraising and support since 2005.

We know with 1 in 2 men, and 1 in 3 women, developing cancer in their lifetime we need to keep funding this vital research.

This small increase to our overall pledge amounts means we can keep pace with the increased costs in research and continue to fund those who can help us find better treatments and a hopefully cure in our lifetime.

Your support through fundraising is making an incredible difference and to learn more about the researchers we fund click here.

Registration Fees

Registration fees assist with the costs of running our programs and help us ensure we can deliver the maximum funds available to research and health promotion. We try and keep them at a minimum.

We are always looking to engage corporate support or support through our Centurion programs to assist with keeping fees low. Please get in touch if you think you or your organisation may be able to help!
