Future Goal Event Fund

I'm supporting cancer research and prevention with Can Too Foundation.

1 in 3 women and 1 in 2 men will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime and those statistics mean that someone we love may have to battle cancer.  


In the last 5 years cancer has well and truly touched my world.  I have been treated for lymphoma and lost my beloved dad, my precious friend, Jude, and my dear cousin Ronnie to stomach, pancreatic and bowel cancers.   


I want to find a way to help change those statistics and that's where the Can Too Foundation comes in!


Can Too provides professionally coached training programs for participants – of any fitness level – to run, swim and cycle their way to a healthier lifestyle and a cancer-free world.


In return, I am raising valuable funds that go towards innovation in the prevention, care, and control of cancer. Since 2005, Can Too Foundation have trained over 16,000 participants, raised over $22,500,000 to invest in 182 one-year cancer research grants.


The support for my first ocean swim has been so fantastic that I now commit to doing a second event.  I would be so grateful if you could sponsor me or, even better, join me in a program!

We Did It!!! The Big Swim 2023

Monday 30th Jan
We did it! We swam 2.6km from Palm to Whale Beach and raised over $400 000 to fund promising cancer research. 

I am so grateful to belong to this fabulous CanToo family and excited at the very real difference we make …

BEANIES ARE CANTOO COOL!

Squad training continues through the winter and we are becoming stronger, fitter and tweaking our style thanks to our awesome Coach Paul.

Last night we were filmed under water and I can't wait to see what that looks like!!!!

Last night was also a stonking night for beanie sales with CanToo beanies keeping both swimmers and runners warm.  Batch 1 has now sold out and I am canvassing pre orders for batch 2.

Thank you all for your continued interest in and support for my healing, joyful CanToo journey.  It means so very  much to me.

A fabulous well run event on a beautiful Sydney autumn day made for the perfect first ocean race for me.
I loved every minute and am delighted with my time and age group place.

Just a little bit excited to be training in Bondi tomorrow.  The water quality in Manly is poor after the recent heavy rains and so we have relocated.
I will most definitely share some piccies with you all.

A great session in the pool with coach Paul and our fab 1km group.  We're breaking down our swimming style and learning an endurance swimming stroke - its like active meditation and I am loving it!
Thanks to all my fabulous sponsors - My haematologist was delighted that I am raising funds for cancer research and may even be tempted to join a Cantoo programme in the spring.  (I'll keep working on that)
