I'm supporting cancer research and the health of people in Australia
Roughly 1 in 2 of us will receive a cancer diagnosis in our lifetime. This is a statistic that we need to change.
So, I've decided to take on a personal challenge with the support of CanToo, to raise funds along the way that could be life-changing. From supporting the ongoing health promotion work CanToo provides, to funding incredible, innovative early-career cancer researchers.

Autumn CanToo training program starts next week Wednesday 11th February 2026
Friday 6th Feb Next week will see a new set of swimmers keen to explore Ocean Swimming for the first time, as well as returning swimmers looking forward to continuing their ocean swimming journey at the same time as raising much needed funds for research to kick Cancer's Butt. Pool training sessions will commence on Wednesday evening for me, plus an ocean swimming session on Saturday mornings. Last Summer and Autumn 2024-2025 I returned to the CanToo Family to continue raising funds for early career cancer researchers, and while continuing to swim through the winter months, am back actively aiming to assist researchers find solutions to prevent, treat, and cure cancer. This morning I received news of losing yet another person close to my family to cancer. It needs to stop. Thank you for your support in donating to my fundraising page.
Swim and fundraising journey 2025 and 2026
Monday 15th Dec 2025 was a big year, starting in November 2024 with Summer CanToo, moving on to 2025 and the 20 km Duo Relay (me and my mate Kate taking turns on and off the boat till we finished, supported by best crew ever Cookie and Jim, with Skipper Mark) Port to Pub in WA in March 2025 , followed by 10km South Head swim and a 9.5 km North Head swim in June back home in Sydney.Thank you to everyone who has made a donation towards my goal
