Following the departure of our friends at Bell Leisure (read more here), we are thrilled to announce our new partnership with Aqua Culture Swim for our Summer Ocean Swim program in Manly.
Their incredible Coaches, Sandi Edwards and Sean Davis, will guide our Manly swim participants through training, helping more people to achieve their goals while challenging themselves, and challenging cancer too.
Sandi Edwards: Head Pool Coach – Aqua Culture Swim

“Coaching allows me to pursue my greatest passion; encouraging people to believe in themselves and then helping to guide them to be the best they can be.
With 15 years’ experience as a swim Coach and 19 years as a learn-to-swim teacher, I have worked with people of all ages, from babies through to adults. My experience spans teaching complete beginners through to coaching athletes at an elite level, including National Age Champions in pool swimming, surf, water polo, and triathlon.
I also volunteer with Water Skills for life, where we provide lessons for toddlers through to adults.”
Sean Davis: Head Ocean Coach – Aqua Culture Swim

“I have been coaching for the past 10 years in the ocean, with the Manly and North Curl Curl Surf Life Saving Clubs. I am qualified as a performance Surf Coach and Development Swim Coach. Personally, I have competed at the highest levels in Surf Life Saving and won numerous State and Australian championships.
My focus with the group from CanToo, will be to ensure everyone is safe and enjoys the ocean as much as I do. We will build confidence and skills in the ocean over the period of the program. As always we will have water safety to support and help.
I look forward to meeting everyone very soon.”

"We have the most innovative and modern system. We don’t use liquid chlorine in our 25m pool, instead create chlorine through the process of electrolysis. We have UV chambers and have the only ultrafine filter (Neptune Bension) on the Northern beaches. We heat our pool to 27.5 - 28.0 degrees all year round."
