Fundraising Commitment

Last updated: 11 December 2019

A fundraising commitment is the minimum you commit to raising for cancer research and prevention when you register for a Can Too training program or adventure challenge.

Can Too is a two-part experience – we help you get fit and healthy so that you can help cancer researchers find better ways to beat cancer.

How long do I have to fundraise?

You will receive a fundraising page as soon as you register for a training program or adventure challenge.

For training programs, you have until 30 days after your goal event to meet your fundraising commitment.

For adventure challenges, you have until 30 days after you return home from your adventure challenge to meet your fundraising commitment.

What if I don’t fundraise the minimum commitment by the due date?

For Can Too training programs, we will continue working with you up to 90 days after your goal event to help you achieve your fundraising goal.

For Can Too adventure challenges, we will continue working with you up to 90 days after the completion of your adventure challenge to help you achieve your fundraising goal.

At the end of 90 days, if you’re unable to meet your fundraising commitment you won’t be able to commence a future Can Too training program or adventure challenge until you’ve met your previous fundraising commitment.

We care about our people and understand circumstances change. If you find yourself in circumstances beyond your control, please see our Special Considerations policy.

What if I withdraw from my training program?

Please see our Withdrawals Policy.

What if I withdraw from my adventure challenge?

If you need to withdraw from an adventure challenge, you can ‘roll over’ your fundraising to any future Can Too training program or adventure challenge.

Please see our Withdrawals Policy.
