Swimming four abreast
Wednesday 22nd OctThis summer I am tackling my ocean fears by training for an ocean swimming race with Can Too and raising much needed funds for cancer research.
Thankfully Bondi Beach has not been too mean to us, and the last few weeks have seen the waves gradually get bigger!
This week in the pool our lovely coach thought it would be fun to have us swim four abreast - to simulate the start of an ocean race. However the four of us managed to swim in a nice straight line down the lane, not bashing into each other. Such good pool etiquette.
Tomorrow's waves at Bondi promise to be a little bigger....

Good for you Rachael. I admire your guts as I'm a lousy sea swimmer. My mother died of cancer in 2000 - and all of us have our own cancer stories. So good luck to your mother and well done with the training regime.
