After six months of dedicated training, the Runaway Sydney Half Marathon on May 4th, 2025, was a resounding success! Crossing that finish line in 2 hours, 24 minutes, and 30 seconds, and placing 16482 out of 20527, was an incredible feeling. I'm immensely grateful for the support of my coaches, whose guidance was invaluable. A huge thank you to my family and friends for their unwavering encouragement throughout this journey. Completing this race with my family by my side was undoubtedly the biggest achievement for me this year. 31th-6th Apr 2025

Sunday 6th Apr
Despite battling the flu this past week (March 31st - April 6th, 2025), I remained committed to our team's efforts and successfully completed my running sessions. It wasn't easy, and I especially appreciate Kim's incredible support during the runs, particularly when I experienced shortness of breath. I'm really proud that I pushed through and didn't give up on our goals.
This week's efforts included 4 sessions totaling 3 hours and 5 minutes, with an average session length of 40 minutes. Together, we covered 26.93 kilometers and burned 1814 calories.
Notably, April 5th marked a significant milestone as it was the first time our team started reaching and exceeding the 16-kilometer mark in a single session, as you can see from the 16.65 km run recorded.
Every step and every bit of effort contributes to our fundraising goals, and your support makes challenges like these worthwhile.
