Bondi Swim #3
Yesterday we finished the Cantoo Summer Swim Program @ Bondi.
3 epic swims over 3 weekends = 7.1km!
It was such a fun day. Clear most of the way, I was channeling Sueanne and she sent hundreds of fish to keep us company (+a few jellyfish and bluebottles to keep us focussed) on the hardest part of the course.
We swim Bondi every week, but I’ve never been out as far – it was exhilarahting! Thank you as always to my amazing husband @Brendan Morris – 6 years together and 2 years married tomorrow – life with you is one fabulous adventure – love you! ?
I was aiming to do the swim under 45minutes, so I am very proud to say we finished it in 41.53 (hurrah!) --- one step closer to becoming a life saver in 2025!
NBSLC has their next intake for Surf Life Savers in July, so I'm starting the Cantoo Autumn program on the 17 February, with goal swim of Coogee

Palm Beach for my Aunty Annette
Palm beach to Whale Beach 64minutes 2.8km - the final leg of the swim I swear the sun came out and I could feel my Auntie and Omie cheering me on. A bit of a hairy start getting out but then it was fun, fun, fun! I was very lucky to have Brendan Morris and Paul Horton guarding my sides throughout the swim. And of course the wonderful Cantoo coaches Toni, Kj and Giselle on land cheering me on. Thank you to all those who have donated so far.
