Jumping back in
Saturday 17th JanIt has been a while since I've done any serious swimming ... a near-drowning event a while back scared the pants off me and soured the experience of the ocean for me.
I want to find my confidence again and dive back in so I can embrace again the glorious feeling of swimming out the back. I've signed up for my third outing with the excellent CanToo organisation which will allow me to simultaneously rebuild my stamina, stroke and confidence, while also raising funds that will go towards supporting cancer research in Australia.
