I’ve signed up for a 1km ocean swim challenge with CanToo, and for me, this is a big one.

Roughly 1 in 2 Australians will receive a cancer diagnosis in their lifetime, a statistic we urgently need to change.

So I’ve decided to take on this swim challenge with CanToo and push myself well outside my comfort zone. I’m relatively new to swimming, ocean swims don’t exactly come naturally to me, and this whole thing feels a bit daunting, but that’s kind of the point.

Along the way, I’m raising funds that can genuinely make a difference. Your support helps CanToo continue its health promotion work and fund incredible early-career cancer researchers working on prevention, better treatments, and ultimately a cure.
