Running the Central Coast Half Marathon to Fight Cancer: Join Me in Making a Difference!
Friends, family, and supporters,
I am reaching out to you with a heartfelt plea to join me in my mission to make a tangible impact in the fight against cancer. On 26 November 2023, I will be taking on the incredible challenge of running the Central Coast Half Marathon—a monumental milestone for me and an opportunity to raise vital funds for cancer research.
Cancer touches our lives in profound ways. 1 in 3 women and 1 in 2 men will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Witnessing the struggle of those close to me fighting this formidable disease has ignited a fierce determination within me to contribute to the ongoing fight against cancer.
By participating in this half marathon and seeking your generous support, I am raising crucial funds that will fuel innovation in the prevention, care, and control of cancer. Since its inception in 2005, the Can Too Foundation has trained over 18,000 participants and raised an astounding $25,000,000, which has been invested in more than 200 one-year cancer research grants.
