Why am I doing this?
I'm supporting cancer research and prevention with Can Too Foundation.
My dad loved the ocean and swimming in it was one of the great joys of his life. Unfortunately his life was cut short by the insidiousness of cancer, right when he thought he had more time to do the things he loved. In his memory, I have decided to challenge myself to conquer my fear of ocean swimming and am training to take part in the Maroubra Ocean Swim on 27 April with CanToo.
In doing so I am hoping to raise much needed money to support cancer research and prevention. I would be very grateful for any small donation that will work towards finding ways to beat this awful disease.
