Because Cancer Has Messed with Too Many of My People
Cancer has touched too many of the people I care about. Some are still fighting, some have won, and heartbreakingly, some are no longer here. That’s my “why.”
So, in true questionable-decision-making spirit, I’ve signed up for a ridiculous ocean swim challenge with CanToo. (Picture me battling waves, salt water up my nose, and maybe the odd jellyfish — all for a good cause.)
I’m raising money to fund cancer research and support the incredible early-career researchers who are pushing us closer to prevention, better treatments, and one day, a cure. CanToo also does amazing work promoting health and getting people like me moving — sometimes in ways we never thought possible.
Every donation helps — whether it’s the cost of a post-swim coffee or something bigger. Together, we can make a splash against cancer.
