I'm supporting cancer research and prevention with Can Too Foundation.

Well I am back again for my 4th year of Ocean swimming with Can Too and my 5th program. I so love this program I am now a Mentor helping those new to Ocean Swimming to rise to the challenge.

As many of you have supported me in the past by  sponsoring me through a donation, this year I am running a Group West Pymble Ocean Swim Pod fundraiser. A Clothes Swap!

How it works is you can donate any good condition clothes that you no longer wear or they don't bring you joy and let us sell them for a bargain price. Win win I say - you feel good about donating your clothes so they can have a second life (and not go to landfill) and raise money for cancer research.

The Clothes Swap will be held on:

Saturday 23 January, 2021 - from 1pm to 4pm at my place at South Turramurra, Sydney. Address will go out through DM.

Clothes drop off - please let me know if you have clothes for us to sell. I can pick up before Christmas or in January.

Condition of clothes - please donate good condition clothes - no marks, or holes. Male or Female adult clothes (no children's clothes), shoes or jewellery. Clothes that you would still wear out - not for gardening!

Did you know 1 in 3 women and 1 in 2 men will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. This means that potentially someone we love may have to battle cancer, and that’s a statistic that needs to change. And like you I have had many friends and family be impacted by cancer.

Can Too provide professionally coached training programs for participants – of any fitness level – to run, swim and cycle their way to a healthier lifestyle and a cancer-free world.

The valuable funds that are raised go towards innovation in the prevention, care, and control of cancer. Since 2005, Can Too Foundation have trained over 16,000 participants, raised over $22,500,000 to invest in 182 one-year cancer research grants.

It would be fantastic if you could either -

1. Donate clothes for us to sell

2. Come along to the Clothes Swap - all clothes will be priced at $5,$10 or $20. Bargain!!

3. Sponsor me, just $5 a cost of a coffee is all I am asking!
