I'm training with Can Too for Ocean Swimming!
I am training for an ocean swimming event with Can Too, and am excited!
I used to swim in the 2km ocean swimming races by myself. I'm being trained only towards the 1km race this time, since I had a shoulder reconstruction in 2013, and hurt the other shoulder playing golf early in 2015. Oh, and I have metastatic breast cancer.
The first photo in my gallery was taken 3 days before I had surgery for breast cancer. I was a lot fitter then than now!
So it's actually a big goal for me to complete this program.
Last summer I was a volunteer for Can Too, swearing I would strengthen my shoulder so I could get into ocean swimming again.
And it's going to happen.
