Support for cancer research and prevention saved my son’s life. Join me in making a difference with Can Too Foundation!
Like most people, I knew the statistics. 1 in 3 women and 1 in 2 men will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. I had even lived the statistics - relatives and friends diagnosed with cancer.
But in early 2018 it became even more personal. My sick 3 year old boy lay in an ICU bed as doctors sat me and my wife down in a sterile conference room to tell us our boy had cancer. That year was a blur of treatment, scans, and just making it from one day to the next.
Today, my boy has passed some key milestones in his recovery journey. He is in remission. He started kindergarten as an energetic 5 year old with incredible curly hair and a mischievous smile.
Many things brought us to this point - caring and skilled doctors, the prayers and support of family and friends from around the world, and much more. But one thing that I can help provide for other families like ours is investment in life saving research.
The success of my son’s treatment was because researchers had spent countless hours finding the correct combination of medicine to treat his type of cancer. Other cancer patients - and their families - need us to step up for them to support that critical research.
The Can Too Foundation provides professionally coached training programs for participants – of any fitness level – to run, swim and cycle their way to a healthier lifestyle and a cancer-free world.
In return, I am raising valuable funds that go towards innovation in the prevention, care, and control of cancer. Since 2005, Can Too Foundation have trained over 15,000 participants, raised over $21,000,000 to invest in 168 one-year cancer research grants.
It would be fantastic if you could sponsor me, or even better join me in a program!
Thank you for your support!
