Oxygen is overrated...
After coaching 5 run programs for Can Too I have decided to take the plunge. I am diving straight into the deep end and at the stroke of 7:45am on November 29 I will be swimming 2.5km with the my fellow bright orange fish!
If asked how I am going over the next 12 weeks I will answer only "Swimmingly", respond to any comments about the temperature as if it were summer and attempt to be first in the water every time!
Beginner (swimmers) "Me" and experienced athletes alike are given professional coaching (anti drowning tips) as part of a team to swim (Horizontal water running) in endurance events such as the Murwillumbah ocean swim.
In return, I will raise valuable funds that go towards funding cancer researchers through Cure Cancer Australia.
‘It’s going to be so much fun (I see what you guys mean now, just doesn't seem right in this context) and I can’t believe I’m going to attempt and hopefully conquer this goal that I never thought possible.
