The Big Swims

Monday 17th Feb
Happy 2025! I’m feeling very accomplished entering the new year as I completed my two furthest goal swims! 2.8km from Palm Beach round the headland to Whale Beach, and 2km from the North end of Bondi. Both swims were challenging but the feeling at the end running up onto the sand is fantastic. Thank you to those who’ve supported me so far, I’ve nearly reached my fundraising target.

Keeping Our Ocean Clean

This year I am fundraising by selling Can Too coloured KeepCups! 

Durable medium size reusable cups perfect for hot or cold drinks, made from recycled plastic. All cups have the signature Can Too orange on the lid and I have a variety of lid and band combinations - lots of beautiful blues like that ocean we love so much!

Using a KeepCup is a fantastic way to make sure we are respecting our ocean and keeping it clean for everyone. A great Christmas gift for yourself or anyone in your life! Cups are $20 each, if you would like one please send me a message.

Back for Another Season!

Happy Aussie Summer! What a beautiful time of year to be in the ocean, splashing about, swimming with fish and fundraising for cancer research!

I am back with the Can Too West Pymble pod, training at West Pymble pool on Wednesday evenings and Mona Vale beach on Saturday mornings. We have been having a fantastic time with great conditions in the ocean and three full lanes in the pool.

Once again my swim training is made possible by the fantastic initiative and organisation of the Can Too team and its volunteers. I am raising valuable funds that go towards innovation in the prevention, care, and control of cancer. Since 2005 Can Too has raised over $30,000,000 to invest in over 150 cancer research grants. 1 in 3 women and 1 in 2 men will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. That statistic needs to change!
