"As a cancer survivor and a mum, I’m here today because of innovative cancer treatments, made possible by cancer research.
I’ve learned resilience and tenacity, and as a cancer survivor, I’m grateful for all that life has allowed me to achieve. Now I want to help you find your own adventurous spirit.
I’m leading a trek to the summit of Mt Kilimanjaro to fundraise for cancer research, and to give all those affected by cancer, more years with their family – just as I have been gifted."
— Heather Hawkins, Trip Leader
