Dee Howard
Being part of the 2007 Can Too swim program was an proud experience for me, and it is a delight, to now have this opportunity of being able to give back and work with Can Too, as we strive to bring out the best in each other, achieve fund raising targets and ultimately, ‘A world without cancer’.

Jon Bell
Jon heads up our coaching program for the North Side. He has a strong background in education and competitive swim coaching having coached as part of the Australian Swimming team and NSW Institute of Sport for many years. Although he used to focus solely on pool swimming he now coaches many elite triathletes and surf swimmers. And of course the Can Too ocean swimmers!!!
"It was after a brief meeting with Annie Crawford in 2006. I was so impressed with the concept and the passion that Annie had for the Can Too program. It was also because Can Too was geared to provide funding for the Cure Australia Foundation that I wanted to be involved.”
This is now Jon's third year with Can Too as a Coach and probably what stands out the most is his ability to coach
at all levels. He will give you the skills and training to be able to achieve your goals.

Col Marshal
I have been involved with swimming since taking up the sport in 1978 as an 8 year old. After I broke my first Australian swimming record, I remained an Australian Champion, Australian Institute of Sport team member and Australian swim team member from then until my retirement from competitive swimming in 1992.
On retirement I undertook my Level 1 Swimming Coaching Course and have been involved in coaching swimmers, triathletes and ocean swimmers at various levels, as well as being a qualified triathlon coach.
I enjoy coaching and putting something back in to the sport that gave me so much as an athlete. I welcome the opportunity to coach the Can Too Team for many reasons. I feel it will be inspirational to work with so many dedicated people from such a diverse background. I also find the concept of a sporting endeavor with the purpose of raising money for such a worthy cause a very alluring challenge. I not only feel I can give everyone in the team something from my knowledge and experience but that they will in turn give me something back from their ability to show compassion and the strength of their human spirit in working towards a common goal.

I have been a professional swim coach for 11 years. I am a coach of Masters and Open Water swimmers also.
Almost 10 years ago my dad passed away from cancer at the age of 59. He always tried to keep so fit and loved his swimming.
I really hope I can pass on my passion and enthusiasm for the sport and help my Can Too team achieve their dreams and goals.
