Daniel Watt

Dan Watts

Becoming involved with Can Too has been amazing because not only do they make running accessible to everyone through an excellent graduated training program but additionally they are a not-for-profit organisation raising money for Cancer research"

Dan Watt has been a professional running coach since he was 20 years old - he is now 28. Before that, as a junior athlete, he competed at a state level in cross-country (best finish was 11th in U/21 1998) and 3000m on the track (best finish was 8th in U/21 1998). Dan has been the running coach at Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre since 2001 and in that time has coached participants from very little running to a marathon.  In 2003 Dan was struck by a drunk driver and following a month long coma he had to learn how to run again. The insight it gave him into correct and comfortable running form and the importance of core strength has made him enjoy his running more.

Rod Dehighden

Rod wants to share his passion for running and help others achieve their personal best.  To Rod, the cure for cancer is something we all need to support.  The greatest challenge to Rod is to challenge others around him. He is looking forward to helping Cantoo athletes undertake the challenge of running a half marathon.

Chris Walkley
Coach Chris

Chris is an experienced runner and coach, having completed many races from 5km up to several marathons, and been involved as a Coach and Pacer at runs such as the Run For The Kids, Run Melbourne and Melbourne Marathon over the past 4 years.  He is excited about being involved with Can Too, and strongly believes in all the objectives of the organisation, from support of Cancer Research through to the well being that is able to be achieved through exercise.  Most of all he is looking forward to helping some wonderful people achieve great things.
