Have a read of some of our testimonails from our wonderful Melbourne Can Too Team
To the Can Too Team; My husband and I would like to say a big thank you to all of you for all the support you have given the both of us over the past 10 weeks, words can’t describe how much we appreciate everything you have done for us. When we signed up for the program I didn’t really think of the running it was only about the fundraising and my husband was so against it but went along with it for the memory of my father, then something changed in both of us….. The Can Too spirit took us over. One of the highlights for me was our last time trial, as usual I was still going and had 2.5 laps to go, everyone else had finished. The next thing I know the mentors came across the field and started running with me supporting me all the way, I will never forget that and I say a big Thank You to Can Too for giving that to me. For my husband the whole process has been a life changing experience, he has found a new passion. Can Too has changed our lives, you guys have changed our lives and for that we will be forever grateful. Annie, what Can Too has done for us and so many others on a personal level will be imprinted in our hearts and minds forever, and what you do for human kind is just inspiring. I would really like to continue some sort of volunteer connection with Can Too so if there is anything I can do to help this fantastic cause please contact me! Once again thank you for this experience, and see you at our reunion run.

I just wanted to say how much I have enjoyed being a part of the Can Too family over the last 20 weeks. The organisation is a credit to you and you should feel very proud of what you have created. The last few months have been pretty difficult for me and the support of the Can Too group has been a real lifeline. I have met so many amazing people that are now lifelong friends and have developed a real hunger for demanding physical challenges! This is all possible becuase of your idea and drive - wow!I look forward to being a part of Can Too in the future and would love to continue to support and represent Can Too in future marathons and half marathons. Keep it up - you're amazing!

Hi all. I am totally with what Annie said, but would also like to add that what we did yesterday was an amazing thing not only in terms of the money we raised but the hope we have all unknowingly given to the families dealing with cancer. As we headed off yesterday at 7am my uncle passed away from cancer after a very short battle. My aunti has asked me to pass on her thanks to every one of you for what we put ourselves through yesterday as it gave her a small bit of hope that while she is feeling so hopeless there are people out their making an effort to do something so there is a chance others may not suffer the same devastating fate. Well done to all of us, what we achieved is wonderful on so many levels

I wish to also echo that sentiment. CanToo is such a fantastic initiative, Annie and everyone involved has been so engaged, supportive and inspiring. This group in particular has attracted a great caliber of individuals that I can only reiterate that it will be sorely missed. I can't wait to be back next year as my marathon itch is still madly alive. You all should be bloody proud of yourselves. Being in the spectator's seat I was impressed to see how far you've actually come...I'm not joking when I say that most runners at the 41km mark were visibly fatigued and struggling, whereas most of you were coming in so strong with the biggest smiles spread across your faces...see the photos for evidence (and yes, non-Facebookers can access these too). Apologies to those I missed amongst the sea of runners. I did intend to get a shot of each and every one of you.

Marathon) is currently undergoing stem cell treatment to combat bone marrow cancer ...on Friday he asked me to pass on best wishes for the run and a huge thanks for the making a difference.
