Marathon-42km.
Locations: East (Wednesday), North, Northern Beaches and West locations only.
Training commences on May 5, 2010
20 week training program: Raise $2,000
MARATHON TRAINING NOW CLOSED
Half Marathon-21km.
All locations
Training commences on June 16, 2010
14 week training program: Raise $1,250
HALF MARATHON TRAINING NOW CLOSED
9km Bridge Run.
All locations
Training commences on July 14, 2010
10 week training program: Raise $800
Training on Wednesday night, except East Pod, which has two options, Wednesday OR Thursday.

What happens at training?
Each week, the Wednesday night track session focuses on a different area of preparation such as conditioning, strength or endurance. Each workout is followed by a guest speaker talking about a relevant subject to either educate or inspire Can Tooers – from nutrition to injury prevention, goal setting or what it is like to experience cancer and the work of Cure Cancer Australia.Track sessions are from 6:30 PM until 8/8:30 PM.
On Saturday mornings,
participants can look forward to distance road runs.These guided weekly runs progressively increase in distance.The training groups are broken into smaller groups so that participants can run with people of similar experience and/or pace.These session are about an hour to start with and get progressively longer as the length of the run increases.
Through the remainder of the week, participants follow a training guide which includes cross training and core strength to make sure they have what it takes to reach their goal.Can Tooers also have online access to their coaches during the week, should they have any questions or concerns. It’s that simple! Follow the program for the Run of Your Life!!

Please note: We anticipate that numbers for training for the half marathon and 9k program will need to be capped at the eastern suburbs training program. Registrations will be taken on a first come first serve basis. If you are interested in joining Can Too we suggest that you register as soon as you can to avoid disappointment. Once places have filled for the eastern suburbs location - participants will still be given the opportunity to train at our other locations.
